Every photographer remembers their first NYC engagement session — and for me, Michelle and John will always hold a special place in my heart. They were the very first couple I photographed in New York City, and their session was nothing short of a dream.
We began our morning with a sunrise engagement session in Central Park, and it was absolute perfection. The city was still asleep, and we had the park entirely to ourselves. The soft golden light, the peaceful paths, and the quiet hum of the city waking up created the most magical atmosphere.
As we walked through the park, Michelle and Jonh laughed, held hands, and simply enjoyed the moment. Their love was effortless — the kind that doesn’t need direction, just presence. Every frame captured that genuine connection between them, from the stolen glances to the spontaneous laughter.
After our time in Central Park, we wanted to change the vibe for something a bit more relaxed and urban. So, we headed to the Upper West Side, where the couple changed into a more casual look. The streets of the neighborhood, with their charming brownstones and golden morning light, created the perfect backdrop for the next part of their love story.
The weather was perfect — warm but breezy, with just the right amount of sunlight. Every shot felt like a scene from a movie, and I couldn’t have asked for a better couple to experience my first NYC engagement session with.
From start to finish, this session reflected everything I love about engagement photography in New York City — romance, adventure, and authenticity. Michelle and One reminded me that when two people are truly in love, the city becomes a playground for their story.
This Central Park engagement session will always be one to remember.
